Synopsis
In het hart van het Noordpoolgebied ligt het Yamal-schiereiland, het grootste gasproducerende gebied ter wereld. 85% van het Russische gas komt uit Yamal.
Op Yamal migreren de NENETS al meer dan 200 generaties lang van het noorden naar het zuiden van het schiereiland. Kunnen de Nenets deze hebzucht en over-industrialisatie overleven?
Deze documentaire is een pool- en milieuwestern die ons onderdompelt in de opkomst van de Noordoostelijke zeeroute en het verdwijnen van de laatste Siberische transhumance route.
Het succes van de ene kan het verdwijnen van de andere inhouden.
